Yoon Kyun-sang courted for upcoming OCN drama ‘Mr. Fixed Term’

Yoon Kyun-sang might be starring in a new cable drama soon!

It was reported on March 25 that the actor is being courted for an upcoming OCN drama, Mr. Fixed Term. The reports were confirmed by Yoon Kyun-sang’s agency, Popeye Entertainment. According to a source from the company, “It is true that Yoon Kyun-sang has been offered a role in the drama and is looking at it with expectation. However, his appearance is yet to be finalized.”

Should the actor say yes to the offer, he will play the role of a former successful lawyer who loses his job because of a school-related case and ends up working as a fixed term teacher at a high school to regain his honor. While he becomes a teacher for selfish reasons, he will help protect the student from injustice as he sees crimes taking place in the community.

The drama will revolve on the reality of young people facing no repercussions for their criminal actions simply because they are teenagers. It will also show how society provides no protection for victims of these crimes.

Yoon Kyun-sang debuted as an actor in 2012, playing a supporting role in the historical fantasy romance series Faith. He then drew attention with his supporting roles in Pinocchio (2014), Six Flying Dragons (2015–2016) and Doctors (2016). In 2017, he was cast in his first leading role in the historical drama Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People, which was followed by other starring roles in Doubtful Victory (2017-2018) and Clean With Passion For Now (2018).

Mr. Fixed Term is expected to air this July on cable channel OCN.
