Yoon Hyun-min, Seo Ji-hoon offer their hearts to Hwang Jung-eum in main poster for ‘Men Are Men’

With its highly anticipated premiere just around the corner, KBS2’s upcoming romantic-comedy series Men Are Men has released its main poster, unveiling a love triangle between lead stars Yoon Hyun-min, Seo Ji-hoon, and Hwang Jung-eum.

Men Are Men revolves around the life of Seo Hyun-joo (Hwang Jung-eum, Mystic Pop-up Bar), a competent leader of a webtoon planning team who has sworn to stay single for the rest of her life after getting seriously hurt from previous romantic ties. However, it seems like fate has other plans for her as she soon finds herself pursued by two dashing men, Hwang Ji-woo (Yoon Hyun-min, My Holo Love), an aloof pharmaceutical company CEO who is quite inexperienced with love, and Park Do-gyeom (Seo Ji-hoon, Welcome), a popular, free-spirited webtoon writer who grew up with Hyun-joo and has a secret crush on her.

In the main visual for the drama, Seo Hyun-joo is such an eye-candy in her stylish, off-shoulder red dress that highlights every curve of her slender figure. She smiles confidently at the center spot with both hands on her waist, an embodiment of a strong independent woman who has built a high wall around herself to fend off her suitors.

The statement “Romance begins when you love me” poses a tough challenge for Hwang Ji-woo and Park Do-gyeom to break down Hyun-joo’s emotional defenses and gain her love. Both appear unbothered and brave, up for the quest, as they, together with their “doppelgangers,” suit up and gather around Hyun-joo, each with a heart-shaped balloon in hand to signify their deep affection for her.

The title is creatively designed with heart pieces and placed at the bottom of the poster while the pink-hued details of its first broadcast are positioned just below it.

Men Are Men (also That Guy Is the Guy) is directed by Choi Yoon-suk of Queen of Mystery 2 (2018), and its fun, refreshing tale is written by Lee Eun-young of My Little Baby (2016). It is set to air on July 6 at 9:30 p.m. KST as a Monday-Tuesday drama, replacing Born Again.
