Yoo Seung-ho considering lead role in new rom-com ‘Superstar Miss Lee’

It looks like fans of Yoo Seung-ho will not wait a long time before seeing him again in another drama. The actor has been reportedly cast as the male lead in a new series titled Superstar Miss Lee but his agency, BS Company, denied the report and said that the said drama is just one of the many projects he is considering to take.

Superstar Miss Lee is based on a Naver web novel of the same title. It is a fantasy romantic comedy about a woman named Lee Yeo-jung, an employee of a company called P Shopping whose soul becomes exchanged with a top actress following an accident. The casting offer for the titular role remains under wraps.

Yoo Seung-ho has been offered the role of Im Jung-woo, the marketing manager of P Shopping and the youngest son of the P Group’s chairman. He is a wealthy young man with an excellent educational background and perfect looks.

If Yoo Seung-ho accepts the offer, Superstar Miss Lee will become his fifth post-military TV drama, following Remember, Ruler: Master Of The Mask, I’m Not A Robot, and most recently, My Strange Hero in which he played the lead role opposite actress Jo Bo-ah.

The actor has just signed an exclusive contract with his current agency last February. BS Company is home to some famous actors like Kim Tae-hee and Seo In-guk.

Superstar Miss Lee is eyeing a premiere in late 2019 or early 2020.
