Yoo In-soo to appear in tvN’s ‘Stranger 2’

Yoo In-soo will be appearing in tvN’s Stranger 2!

The actor’s agency has confirmed his appearance in the series, saying, “Yoo In-soo will appear in tvN’s new Saturday[-Sunday] drama Stranger 2, which will broadcast on August 15.”

The second season of Stranger comes three years after the conclusion of the first and picks up the story where the previous season left off. This time, the Prosecutor’s Office and the police are on opposing sides, as each party aims to acquire complete authority over investigations. Amid the conflict, Prosecutor Hwang Shi-mok and Detective Han Yeo-jin continue their search for the truth in a cold case. It stars returning cast members Cho Seung-woo (Life), Bae Doo-na (Kingdom 2), Lee Joon-hyuk (365: Repeat the Year), Yoon Se-ah (Melting Me Softly), and Jeon Bae-soo (The King: Eternal Monarch), and new additions to the cast, including Jeon Hye-jin (Search: WWW) and Choi Moo-sung (Arthdal Chronicles).

Yoo is another addition to the lineup, set to make an impact in the series with his undisclosed role.

Yoo In-soo made his debut with a role in the rom-com series Strong Woman Do Bong-soon back in 2017. He has been active since, appearing in many popular TV series such as School 2017 (2017), While You Were Sleeping (2017), Life (2018), ID: Gangnam Beauty (2018), Love Alarm (2019), and Chocolate (2019), where he last appeared. Yoo will also join the cast of the Netflix original zombie thriller All of Us Are Dead, which aims to premiere in 2021 worldwide.

Stranger 2 is set to air this Saturday, August 15, at 9 p.m. on tvN and Netflix, replacing the broadcast slot previously occupied by It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. It is helmed by director Park Hyun-suk (Just Dance) and penned by scriptwriter Lee Soo-yeon (Life).

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
