Rising actress Won Jin-ah is being courted to star opposite SF9’s Rowoon in the upcoming JTBC rom-com drama Sunbae, Don’t Put on That Lipstick, a representative from her agency Yooborn Entertainment said on May 8.
Sunbae, Don’t Put on That Lipstick is based on a popular 2017 webtoon of the same name by writer Elizeu. It revolves around the romance between a good-looking employee and his senior (sunbae) at work.
Won Jin-ah made her series debut in the 2017–2018 romance melodrama Rain or Shine, which earned her a nomination for “Best New Actress” at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards. She then rose to international stardom for her performances in the medical drama Life (2018) and the romantic fantasy series Melting Me Softly (2019) where she acted opposite the two popular “Wookies”—Lee Dong-wook and Ji Chang-wook, respectively.
If Won accepts the current project, she will be portraying the character of the lovely sunbae named Song Ah.
Meanwhile, K-pop idol and rookie actor Rowoon is also considering to join the cast of the series as Hyun Seung, a sexy, serious, and straightforward junior (hoobae) employee.
Sunbae, Don’t Put on That Lipstick will be helmed by Director Lee Dong-yoon of 20th Century Boy and Girl (2017). It is scheduled to air on JTBC in October.

is this true? oh no. i was expecting Lee sung kyung, Park Min Young or Yoona to act opposite Ro woon. Her acting just dont resonate with me. The last time i watch her was in Melting me softly and her acting was not even passable. Sigh.
