‘Vincenzo’ to take week-long break

tvN drama Vincenzo will take a break from airing. Following episodes 15 and 16 this weekend, April 10 and 11, the show will not air new episodes on April 17 and 18. Episodes 17 and 18 will air on April 24 and 25 instead, following a week-long break.

According to the production team of the drama, the break is to improve the quality of the upcoming episodes, in order to keep the show high quality until the end. In the absence of a regular episode, a special episode of Vincenzo will be aired on the 17th, followed by reruns of other shows on the next day.

Vincenzo is the story of a Korean-Italian lawyer who comes to South Korea for a personal agenda but instead ends up fighting for the innocent. It stars Song Joong-ki (Arthdal Chronicles), Jeon Yeo-been (Be Melodramatic), and Ok Taec-yeon (The Game: Towards Zero) as leads. The latest episodes of the show recorded average nationwide ratings of 10–11 percent, making it, as of date, the 15th highest-rated cable in Korean television history.
