Uhm Ji-won, Park Ha-sun, Jang Hye-jin confirmed to headline new drama ‘Postnatal Care Center’

Upcoming tvN comedy-drama Postnatal Care Center has announced Uhm Ji-wonPark Ha-sun, and Jang Hye-jin as lead cast members.

Postnatal Care Center will tell the story of older women adjusting to childbirth and receiving postpartum care, with a career woman in her forties as the protagonist.

Uhm Ji-won will take on the role of new mother Oh Hyun-jin, the youngest executive at her company but the oldest patient in the care center. The character will portray the joys and sorrows a mother experiences in her journey of bringing another human being into the world. The actress starred in the recently wrapped-up occult thriller The Cursed (2020).

Another patient in the care center is Jo Eun-jung, to be played by Park Ha-sun. Eun-jung earns the nickname “Queen Mother,” as a woman looked up to by other mothers in the care center as their role model for caring for her child perfectly and effortlessly. Park received praise for her authentic acting in the romance drama Love Affairs in the Afternoon (2019), making viewers anticipate another exceptional performance from the actress in this new healing drama.

Completing the trio is Jang Hye-jin, who recently made fans laugh with her role in the international hit rom-com drama Crash Landing on You (2019-2020). She will portray the character of Choi Hye-sook, the director of the postnatal care center.

Director Park Soo-won of the 2018 series Big Forest will take charge of the drama production while screenwriter Kim Ji-soo of In Still Green Days (2015) will pen the script.

Postnatal Care Center is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
