SBS has released two new posters of its upcoming thriller drama Taxi Driver, featuring its main characters who fight against crime and injustice.
Based on the webtoon “The Deluxe Taxi,” Taxi Driver revolves around a private taxi company called Rainbow Transport and its drivers who take revenge in behalf of their customers who are suffering from the injustice of society. It stars Lee Je-hoon (Where Stars Land), Esom (Save Me 2), Kim Eui-sung (Arthdal Chronicles), Pyo Ye-jin (VIP), Jang Hyuk-jin (Awaken), Cha Ji-yeon (Scent of a Woman), and Bae Yoo-ram (Zombie Detective).
In the released posters, the intense team force of Lee Je-hoon, Esom, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram is visible in each of their gazes. The first poster exudes the anti-hero theme of the drama, where each star stands behind a spotlight and faces forward, as if ready to engage in battle. Meanwhile, Esom stands in the corner with her sharp gaze focused on Lee Je-hoon, as if monitoring his every movement.
In the second poster, the five members of Rainbow Transport drop their intense gazes and instead, smile warmly while looking at the camera. They consider each other as family, and they work together towards a common goal. The second poster’s background also shows subtle hints of each of the colors of the rainbow, indicating the company’s name.
Taxi Driver is directed by Park Joon-woo of Doctor Detective (2019) and penned by Oh Sang-ho. It will premiere on SBS on April 9, following the conclusion of Penthouse 2.
