‘Tale of the Nine Tailed’ actress Jo Bo-ah parts ways with agency after 10 years

Popular actress Jo Bo-ah has decided to leave SidusHQ, following the expiration of her exclusive contract with the agency.

In an official press release from the talent management company on January 26, they announced, “After a series of discussions, we have agreed to end our management business with actress Jo Bo-ah, who has been with us for the past 10 years.”

Jo Bo-ah made her small-screen debut in 2011 with a cameo role in the JTBC daily sitcom Living Among the Rich. Just a year later, she landed her first major role in the tvN series Shut Up Flower Boy Band (2012). Throughout her career, the 29-year-old star has won three Best New Actress awards and two Excellence awards, proving her remarkable talent in the field of acting. Most recently, Jo received a lot of love for her role in tvN’s romantic-fantasy series Tale of the Nine Tailed, where she starred alongside in-demand actors Lee Dong-wook (Strangers from Hell) and Kim Bum (Mrs. Cop 2).

Meanwhile, SidusHQ is one of the leading artist labels in South Korea. Founded in 2001 by Jung Hoon-tak aka Teddy Jung, the company is not only involved in talent management but also in the production of television dramas and music. Jang Hyuk (Tell Me What You Saw), Kim Ha-neul (18 Again), Kim Hye-yoon (Extraordinary You), and Lee Chae-young (Man in a Veil) are among the famous stars who are being represented by the agency.
