Sung Joon reveals that he has wife, child

Actor Sung Joon has opened up to his fans about having a wife and child.

On February 3, Sung Joon’s agency O& Entertainment revealed that the actor has a non-celebrity wife, whom he married prior to enlisting in the military, as well as a child. Because of his situation, the actor has requested a change in his military duties and will be serving as a full-time reserve. They also shared a handwritten letter from the actor to his fans, in which he gave more details and asked for his fans’ support.

Sung Joon

Sung Joon started his career as a model and made his TV debut in 2011 with a KBS drama special. But it was his portrayal as a brooding young musician in tvN’s 2012 teen drama Shut Up Flower Boy Band that launched him into stardom. Since then, he has appeared in eight dramas including Gu Family Book (2013), Hyde Jekyll Me (2015), and most recently, Ms. Perfect (2017).

The actor enlisted for his compulsory military service in December 2018.
