Stills from the first script reading of upcoming SBS fantasy-romance drama Reunited Worlds were released today. The stills show the main cast members, including Yeo Jin-goo, Lee Yeon-hee, and Ahn Jae-hyun, who attended the event. The script reading took place on June 22 at SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea.
Reunited Worlds is a fantasy drama that centers around two childhood friends who are born in the same year but seems to be having a 13-year age gap between each other as they meet again when the woman is already 31 years old. Lee Yeon-hee (Splendid Politics) plays the role of the woman named Jung Jung-won, who falls in love with Sung Hae-sung, her mysterious friend who is supposedly as old as she is but appears like an 18-year-old. Yeo Jin-goo (Circle) takes on the role of the Sung hae-sung while Ahn Jae-hyun (Cinderella and Four Knights) portrays Cha Min-joon, his rival who owns a restaurant.
Lee Yeon-hee’s character is described to be working in a restaurant, but there are other reports claiming that she is up to play Eom Hyeon-soo who loves to draw and dreams of attending an art school. However, both characters are described to possess a bright personality and end up graduating in college with a nursing degree. She fails to attend art school as life becomes harder for her when his father’s business goes bankrupt.
Aside from the three main leads, Jung Chae-Yeon (Drinking Solo), Lee Si-un (My Sassy Girl), Kim Jin-woo (Remember: War of the Sons), and Kwak Dong-yeon (Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) also attended the event. Jung Chae-yeon will play the younger version of Lee Yeon-hee’s character while Kim Jin-woo and Kwak Dong-yeon will play Sung Hae-sung’s friend, who is a director of a large department store, and younger brother, respectively.
