Song Yoon-ah courted for upcoming melodrama

Actress Song Yoon-ah might take the lead in a new drama!

Song’s agency Snowball Entertainment confirmed that the actress has been offered a role in the upcoming Channel A drama The Queen’s House and is positively considering the offer. 

According to reports, The Queen’s House is a mystery melodrama that tells the story of a woman who cheers for an extramarital affair without knowing that she is the woman her husband is having an affair with. 

Song Yoon-ah debuted in 1995 by winning awards at the KBS Super Talent Contest. She then went on to star in dramas like Hotelier (2001), On Air (2008), Mama (2014), The K2 (2016), and Secret Mother (2018). She was last seen in JTBC’s age-restricted drama Graceful Friends (2020). She is married to her Jailbreakers (2002) co-star and veteran film actor Sol Kyung-gu. 

The Queen’s House is scheduled for the second half of the year.
