Song Joong-ki’s cameo role is a bank employee in the 9th episode of the drama. He helps Park Hae-jin, who plays as Kim Seol-woo, in borrowing 5 million US dollars from Yeo Woon-kwang, a character played by Park Sung-woong. The production team filmed the scenes of his guest appearance at a local bank in Ilsan area, South Korea last February.

Song Joong-ki’s appearance was praised by Man to Man writer Kim Won-seok, who had also co-written the 2016 hit drama Descendants of the Sun which brought Song Joong-ki to immense popularity and won him multiple awards and recognitions. Like Descendants of the Sun, Man to Man is also a fully pre-produced drama. Additionally, avid viewers and fans of the said drama noticed that Song Joong Ki’s cameo role in Man to Man and Chicago Typewriter‘s Yoo Ah-in’s guest role in the Descendants of the Sun were very similar. Yoo Ah-in’s guest appearance was also as a bank employee.

Meanwhile, Namgoong Min’s role is yet to be known but it was reported that he will act alongside Park Sung-woong in episode 10 of the drama. His cameo role is said to be similar to his villainous role in the 2015-2016 drama Remember: War of the Sons, which also stars Park Sung-woong.

Man to Man has started airing on JTBC last April 21, 2017. It is also shown on Netflix and is the first K-drama that has ever been broadcasted simultaneously through the international streaming site. Netflix has obtained the exclusive international televising rights for the drama.

Man to Man tells the story of a longtime top Hallyu actor Yeo Woon-gwang who hires Kim Seol-woo, an elite black ops agent, as his bodyguard. They will encounter various twisty events along with  Cha Do-ha, Yeo Woo-gwang’s manager, who  used to be the leader of his fanclub.

Man to Man broadcasts every Fridays and Saturdays on JTBC at 11:00 pm Korean Standard Time.
