Song Joong-ki and Jeon Yeo-been pose for their dark-hero-themed drama in the newly released poster for Vincenzo.
Vincenzo revolves around a Korea-born mafia strategist who flees to Korea after chaos ensued in his organization. The drama is one of Song’s (Arthdal Chronicles) most anticipated works of 2021. Apart from Jeon (Be Melodramatic), he stars alongside Ok Taec-yeon (The Game: Towards Zero), Yoo Jae-myung (Itaewon Class, Stranger 2), Kim Yeo-jin (Welcome), Kwak Dong-yeon (Never Twice), and Jo Han-chul (Once Again).
In the poster released on February 18, Vincenzo‘s (Song Joong-ki) and Hong Cha-young’s (Jeon Yeo-been) undeniable auras shine in the dark red light as two characters who are born to be dark heroes who deal with villains in their own twisted ways. The chemistry between Vincenzo, a mafia lawyer who is used to evil ways, and Cha-young, a lawyer who uses unconventional ways to ensure victory, is one of the strongest points of the story.

Asked about how it is to work with Jeon, Song shared, “Jeon Yeo-been is an interesting actress who plays a kind of acting that has never been seen before. As a fellow actor, she has a lot of good qualities that I envy, and she is a good partner who motivates you.” He added, “It is fun to watch Jeon Yeo-been’s performance while we work together on the set. I think viewers should look forward to her charm.”
Jeon also shared, “Song Joong-ki sunbae is a person who fits the character Vincenzo really well. I could act with confidence and without worry because I trust him. Cha-young, my character, is a character who pushes other people’s buttons, and he helped me express that more.”
Jeon further shared details about both of their characters, saying, “Cha-young has qualities that he [Vincenzo] doesn’t have, and he also has qualities that Cha-young doesn’t have. In this regard, we will show you more of their chemistry as time goes by and as [our characters] influence each other.”
Catch Vincenzo, tvN’s new Saturday and Sunday drama, when it premieres on February 20.
