Song Joong-ki is in talks to star in a new movie!

On March 27, Song Joong-ki’s agency HISTORY D&C confirmed that he had received an offer to star in a new movie called Season of You and Me. The actor is still reviewing the project.

Song Joong-ki

Season of You and Me is based on the life of Yoo Jae-ha, a singer-songwriter who passed away at the young age of 25 after releasing just one album. The album, “Because I Love You,” went on to sell over 2 million copies and got recognized as one of the best pop albums in Korean history.

The film will be helmed by Jung Da-won, who directed the 2018 movie Girl Cops starring Ra Mi-ran and Lee Sung-kyung. The shooting was originally scheduled to begin in summer, but in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been postponed.

Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki is now in self-isolation after returning to Korea on March 24 from Colombia where he was filming for his current movie project Bogota.
