Song Ji-hyo, Son Ho-jun confirmed as leads in JTBC drama ‘We, Were In Love’

JTBC’s upcoming drama We, Were In Love confirmed that actress Song Ji-hyo will be taking on the female lead role. Starring opposite her are no less than four actors—Son Ho-jun, Song Jong-ho, Kim Min-joon, and Koo Ja-sung.

We, Were In Love (formerly known as Begin Again) tells the story of a single mother who has a history of bad luck when it comes to relationships, and has not dated in 14 years, when four interesting men come into her life.

The main cast of We, Were In Love: Song Ji-hyo, Son Ho-jun, Song Jong-ho, Kim Min-joon, and Koo Ja-sung.

Song Ji-hyo, who was last seen in Lovely Horribly (2018), signed up for the role of Noh Ae-jung, a single mother who works as a film producer. She has spent a long time living alone, raising her child and working hard, without paying attention to her own needs and wants. When she meets four men who are interested in her, her life changes in ways she does not expect.

Son Ho-jun (The Light In Your Eyes) will appear in the show as Oh Dae-oh, a best-selling novelist and renowned screenwriter whose identity is a secret, despite him having branched out to Hollywood. Song Jong-ho (Arthdal Chronicles), meanwhile, will portray a famous actor named Ryu Jin who has been dubbed “the nation’s boyfriend” because of his exceptional good looks.

Kim Min-joon (Babysitter) will play the role of Goo Pa-do, a finance company CEO who is nicknamed “Robin Hood of the private sector” after he turned his life around from being a gangster to a CEO.

Finally, actor Koo Ja-sung (The Secret Life Of My Secretary) will be essaying the role of Oh Yeon-woo, a charming sports teacher who looks after his students well and is popular among them for his good looks.

We, Were In Love will be directed by Kim Do-hyung of the 18 Again fame and premiere in the first half of 2020.
