Shin Min-ah, Kim Seon-ho meet in first script reading for new drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’

Acting stars Shin Min-ah, Kim Seon-ho, and more have gathered for the initial table read of tvN’s upcoming drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.

Spearheaded by director Yoo Je-won of Hi Bye, Mama! (2020) and screenwriter Shin Ha-eun of The Crowned Clown (2019), the project’s first script reading session featured leading pair Kim Seon-ho (Start-Up) and Shin Min-ah (Chief of Staff 2). The two actors shared great chemistry and had deeply immersed themselves into their respective characters that they seemed to be already at their first day of filming.

Other cast members such as Lee Sang-yi (Youth of May), Gong Min-jung (Please Don’t Date Him), Kim Young-ok (Mouse), Jo Han-chul (Vincenzo), In Gyo-jin (Homemade Love Story), Lee Bong-ryun (Run On), Cha Chung-hwa (Beyond Evil), Lee Yong-yi (Chocolate), Shin Shin-ae (Everybody Say Kungdari), and Kang Hyung-suk (Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol) also attended the read-through and reportedly went all-out in delivering their lines.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha centers on the small-town romance between Hong Doo-sik, an all-around guy, and Yoon Hye-jin, a righteous woman. The rom-com slash melodrama is adapted from the 2004 film Mr. Hong and is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
