Seo Ye-ji will be starring opposite Kim Soo-hyun in the new tvN drama Psycho But It’s Okay, her agency Gold Medalist confirmed on February 27.

Seo Ye-ji signed up for the role of Goo Moon-young, a successful children’s book author who has had a hurtful experience when it comes to love. But her perspective on relationships changes after meeting Moon Kang-tae—to be played by Kim Soo-hyun—a hard-working community health worker who has taken on the responsibility of taking care of his siblings after the death of his parents.

Seo Ye-ji was last seen playing a TV lead role in the 2018 action legal drama Lawless Lawyer opposite Lee Joon-gi. She previously headlined Save Me (2017) and Moorim School (2016).

Kim Soo-hyun is making his highly-anticipated return to the small screen with Psycho But It’s Okay. He played a lead role in The Producers in 2015, before joining the military in October 2017. He got discharged from the service in July 2019 and made cameo appearances in Hotel del Luna and Crash Landing on You, two of the most popular Korean dramas that premiered last year.

Meanwhile, Park Gyu-young (Nokdu Flower) had been previously confirmed to appear in the series. She will play Nam Joo-ri, a nurse at the psychiatric ward where Kim Soo-hyun’s character is working.

Psycho But It’s Okay will be directed by Park Shin-woo (Encounter) and written by Jo Yong (Jugglers). It is set to premiere in June 2020.
