Seo Ji-hoon is a free spirit in stills from ‘Men Are Men’

KBS2 has released fresh new stills of Seo Ji-hoon‘s character in its upcoming romance drama Men Are Men.

The drama stars Yoon Hyun-min (My Holo Love), Hwang Jung-eum (Mystic Pop-up Bar), and Seo Ji-hoon (Welcome) as leads. The story revolves around Hwang’s character Seo Hyun-joo, who plays the head of the planning team of a webcomic. After being hurt in past relationships, she adopts a “no-marriage” stance and chooses to remain single. But somehow, she still ends up entangled with two different men at the same time, who have completely opposite personalities.

Yoon Hyun-min plays the role of Hwang Ji-woo, one of the two guys who falls for Hyun-joo. He is the CEO of a pharmaceutical company and has a cold and aloof personality but a great business acumen. You can check out his stills for the drama here.

Seo Ji-hoon plays the second love interest with a completely contrasting nature—the confident, sociable, and free-spirited webtoon writer Park Do-gyeom. Despite growing up with Hyun-joo as almost like siblings, he has been harboring a secret crush on her for a long time.

In one of the recently released stills, Seo Ji-hoon is seen embodying the colorful and confident look of his character in a bright hoodie jacket. He’s not only very attractive but also has a friendly personality that endears him to everyone regardless of age or gender. In the second still, however, his look undergoes a transformation from playful to intense. He has expressions of longing and heartbreak as he looks at something in the distance. Clearly, Seo’s character is not always playful and will portray a variety of charms and emotions to entice the viewers.

Men Are Men (also known as That Guy is the Guy) is directed by Choi Yoon-suk of Good Manager (2017) and Queen of Mystery 2 (2018), while Lee Eun-young, who wrote My Little Baby (2016), is the scriptwriter. It will premiere on July 6 as KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama, replacing Jang Ki-yong’s Born Again in the same time slot.
