Actors Seo In-guk and Jang Doong-yoon will reportedly star in the upcoming action-thriller film Wolf Hunt.
According to a report by Star News on February 22, insiders from the film industry disclosed that Seo In-guk and Jang Dong-yoon have recently accepted the offer to appear in the movie Wolf Hunt and are currently working out the details. The project is a science-fiction, action-thriller film set inside a ship escorting prisoners from abroad. Seo and Jang will play two prisoners who are the central characters of the story. The two have reportedly accepted their roles on the basis of their trust in with PD Kim Hong-sun, who will be headlining the film. The report also revealed that the production accumulated an estimated 12 billion KRW (or around 10.7 million USD) investment.
Prior to Wolf Hunt, Seo In-guk was also cast in the film Pipeline, which postponed its 2020 release due to the global pandemic. He is also set to appear in tvN’s romance drama Doom at Your Service with Park Bo-young sometime in 2021. It will be his comeback drama in three years, following Hundred Million Stars From the Sky in 2018.
Meanwhile, Jang Dong-yoon will be returning to the big screen after three years, following his film Beautiful Days in 2018. He has starred in the dramas The Tale of Nokdu (2019) and Search (2020). He is also set to appear in the upcoming horror-fantasy SBS drama Joseon Exorcist, slated to premiere next month.
Wolf Hunt is scheduled to begin filming in early July after its pre-production stage.
