Seo Hyun-jin, Kim Dong-wook are hardworking professionals in stills from tvN’s ‘You Are My Spring’

tvN’s new drama You Are My Spring has shared the first still cuts of lead stars Seo Hyun-jin and Kim Dong-wook.

You Are My Spring is described as a healing romance series that follows people who live as adults while hanging on to the memories of their seven-year-old selves. They happen to live in the same building where a murder took place.

Seo Hyun-jin, who last graced the small screen in 2019 with Black Dog, transforms into Kang Da-jeong, a hotel concierge manager. Being an outstanding and persevering worker, she rose to a high position earlier than her peers. According to the drama’s production crew, the stills show Da-jeong handing out instructions to the other members of the concierge team during a meeting.

Da-jeong considers the inn in Gangneung, where she stayed once as a child, her hometown and mental retreat. To get a fresh start in life, she moves to an old building where she is forced to recall memories from her childhood. She eventually gets involved in a murder case and meets Joo Young-do, a resident in the complex.

Playing Da-jeong’s neighbor Joo Young-do is Find Me in Your Memory (2020) actor Kim Dong-wook. In his stills, Young-do is in the middle of a consultation with a patient.

Young-do is a psychiatrist who appears sloppy but is actually smart and can exceptionally grasp everything at once. He pursued the career to help struggling people want to live. However, he has lived his entire life nursing his own wounds, without being comforted by anyone.

Joining Seo and Kim in the main cast are Nam Gyu-ri (Kairos), who plays a love-disbelieving actress, and Yoon Park (Birthcare Center), who plays an investment company CEO.

You Are My Spring will premiere on July 5 at 9 p.m. KST. It will air as tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama, replacing Doom at Your Service. Watch the drama’s first teaser here.
