SBS reveals character posters for “Reunited Worlds”

With seven days left before Reunited Worlds makes it premiere next week, SBS released three posters for the drama featuring the three main characters played by Yeo Jin-goo, Lee Yeon-hee, and Ahn Jae-hyun.

The first poster below shows the side view of Yeo Jin-goo’s (Circle) character, Sung Hae-sung, wearing his school uniform and smiling while looking upward. Reunited Worlds is a fantasy romance drama about him and his childhood friend who get separated from each other during their teenage years when he suddenly disappears one day. Sung Hae-sung is able to come back  12 years later but something strange happened to him. He and his friend, Jung Jung-won, are born in the same year but he has not aged a bit while his friend is already 31 years old. His physical appearance is exactly the same as when he disappeared 12 years ago.

Reunited Worlds Poster 1

Lee Yeon-hee (Hwajeong) plays the role of 31-year-old Jung Jung-won, a woman who dreams of attending art school but ends up graduating with a non-arts degree. Her father’s business fails so she could not afford to study in her dream school. When she meets Sung Hae-sung again after 12 years, she is working in a restaurant as an assistant chef. DIA’s Jung Chae-yeon is playing the teenage version of Jung Jung-won.

Completing the love triangle of the drama is Ahn Jae-hyun (Cinderella and Four Knights) who is taking on the role Cha Min-joon, a chef and the owner of the restaurant where Jung Jung-won is working. Unlike in the previous two posters, he is closing his eyes in the poster below while still directing his head upward.

Reunited Worlds will air every Wednesdays and Thursdays starting July 19. It will follow Ruler: Master of the Mask, which will end on July 13, and will be replaced by While You Were Sleeping in September.
