“Ruler: Master of the Mask” cast talk about final filming during wrap party

It’s a wrap for the MBC drama Ruler: Master of the Mask as the production team finished filming the last episode of the series. The cast of the MBC show attended a wrap party on July 3 and talked about their experiences in filming and how they felt that they already shot the last episode of the drama.

Actors Yoo Seung-ho, Kim So-hyun, INFINITE’s L, Yoon So-hee, Park Chul-min, and Shin Hyun-soo attended the party.

Yoo Seung-ho shared during the wrap party that he cannot believe filming is over as there are still eight episodes set to air. He also said he hopes the fans of the drama will love the show until the end. For Kim So-hyun, she expressed that she felt sad when their six-month filming came to an end. She was also happy at the same time for accomplishing such and noted that she will miss her co-stars on Ruler: Master of the Mask.

INFINITE’s L, who is playing the fake crown prince, commended all the actors who brought their energy and time to the set to film the drama. He also asked fans to continue loving Ruler: Master of the Mask until the end. Aside from talking about the ending of the filming, he also acknowledged the fact that his good acting in the drama was because of the director, the staff, and the cinematographer. Yoon So-hee added, “We worked hard from autumn to summer, and I think we were able to wrap up filming without any issues because the cast and staff were all so great.”

Ruler: Master of the Mask is set to air this week its episodes 33 to 36 in which it is expected that a battle will take place in an attempt to take over the throne. Prince Lee Sun will be seen alive despite the attempts to have him killed and he will declare war against the villainous group. L’s character will continue to be greedy as he wants to have more power.

Ruler: Master of the Mask will end on July 13 and will be followed by Man Who Dies To Live.
