‘Reply 1988’ couple Lee Hye-ri, Park Bo-gum to reunite in ‘Record of Youth’

Singer-actress Lee Hye-ri is set to meet her former co-star and love interest Park Bo-gum in the actor’s ongoing tvN drama Record of Youth.

Hyeri’s special appearance was revealed by the end of episode 12, which aired on October 13. Ahn Jung-ha (Park So-dam) introduced her as a new artist during the next-episode preview. In this regard, Creative Group ING officially announced on October 14, “Hyeri will appear in episode 13 of Record of Youth.”

As a result, anticipation has skyrocketed for Hyeri (Miss Lee) and Park Bo-gum’s reunion, four years after their romantic pairing as Duk-sun and Taek in the massive hit series Reply 1988 (2015–2016). The drama revolved around five childhood friends and their families who all grew up living in the neighborhood of Ssangmun-dong, Dobong District, Northern Seoul. Based on its average nationwide TV ratings by Nielsen Korea, Reply 1988 ranks 5th on KDramaPal’s list of the highest-rated Korean cable dramas of all time. With that, viewers are eager to find out what happens when Duk-sun meets Taek once again but in a different “time.”
