Rain, Lim Ji-yeon, Kwak Si-yang to star in fantasy drama ‘Welcome 2 Life’

Rain, Lim Ji-yeon, and Kwak Si-yang will be teaming up for the new fantasy drama Welcome 2 Life, which was previously called Living Two Lives Anyway.

The new series is about a selfish lawyer who is transported into a parallel universe and forced to lead a new life in a manner that is opposite to how he lived his life on earth. Rain (Sketch) has taken up the said character who is named Lee Jae-sang. He is an ace lawyer of the high-profile JK Law Firm and works mostly for people who take advantage of the law, going as far as to mount a fake defense in order to make his clients win. A traffic accident, however, will get him enter a parallel universe and live a life as a lawyer who pursues justice.

Playing Lee Jae-sang’s ex-girlfriend is Lim Ji-yeon (Blow Breeze). Her name is Ra Si-on, a detective who is cautious and excellent in her work. She is tough on the outside but is actually soft-hearted and loving. She broke up with Lee Jae-sang ten years ago on bad terms. However, in the parallel universe, she is married to him. They have a happy family and support each other in everything they do.

Finally, Kwak Si-yang (Fight For My Way) has been confirmed to play Goo Dong-taek, Si-on’s senior colleague and partner at work. He is known for his strict ways but has actually a loving heart for the people around him.

Welcome 2 Life is scheduled to be broadcast on MBC’s Monday-Tuesday slot in July after the conclusion of Investigation Couple 2.
