Korean pop superstar and actor Rain might star in MBC’s legal drama Living Two Lives Anyway, according to reports that surfaced on March 5 which was then swiftly confirmed by his newly-formed agency, Rain Company.
According to the agency, it is true that Rain is considering coming back to the small screen with MBC’s Living Two Lives Anyway. “MBC’s new drama is one of the many projects Rain is looking at. He has not confirmed his appearance in the show yet.”
Living Two Lives Anyway is a legal drama that revolves around the life of a lawyer who finds himself transported to a parallel universe after experiencing a deadly accident. Should Rain confirm his appearance in the drama, this will be his latest drama since Sketch, a JTBC series that was broadcast last year. The actor is best known for his role in the 2004 romcom Full House, opposite actress Song Hye-kyo.
Rain’s upcoming projects are not the only good thing going on with his life. Also professionally known as Jung Ji-hoon, he is the husband of actress Kim Tae-hee. The celebrity couple is expecting their second child. The pregnancy announcement was just released two weeks ago.
He last greeted his fans with Bicycle King Uhm Bok Dong, a biography flick about South Korea’s premier cyclist Uhm Bok-dong. The movie is doing well in the box office and is expected to be released abroad. It also stars Kang So-ra, Park Jin-joo, and Min Hyo-rin.
