‘Penthouse 3’ begins filming, drops premiere date

SBS’s hit makjang drama (dramas with exaggerated elements) Penthouse officially started filming season 3 last April 27. The production also revealed that Penthouse 3 will premiere in June.

Penthouse follows the controversial lives of Korea’s elite living in a luxurious 100-floor penthouse. Season three will reportedly star returning actors such as Eugene (All About My Mom), Kim So-yeon (Mother of Mine), Lee Ji-ah (The Ghost Detective), and Uhm Ki-joon (Heart Surgeons) and also feature new cast members On Joo-wan (The Lies Within) and Park Ho-san (Hush).

The production crew said, “Penthouse 3 will mark the end of the drama. It will be broadcast once a week, every Friday night, starting on June 4. The third season will have new faces, such as On Joo-wan and Park Ho-san, who will join the existing cast, as well as unprecedented development from the events of seasons one and two. Please look forward to Penthouse 3.”

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
