Park Hyung-sik’s agency denies reports on his casting in “Temperature of Love”

Rumors surfaced recently saying that actor Park Hyung-sik (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) will star in the new drama called Temperature of Love but United Artist Agency, his agency, denied the reports. The agency said in a statement that Park Hyung-sik was not cast to star in Temperature of Love, and nor is he considering the role as he has not even seen the synopsis of the upcoming drama.

Described as a romantic comedy for the Internet generation, Temperature of Love revolves around the story of an aspiring drama series writer named Jae-in, who meets online an aspiring French cuisine chef with a username called “Nice Soup.” The drama will focus on the relationship that will develop between the two as well as the people around them. Actress Seo Hyun-jin (Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim) was tapped to take on the lead female role. She is said to be considering the drama.

Temperature of Love is penned by Doctors writer Ha Myung-hee. It is based on her own novel titled Nice Soup Does Not Answer the Phone that was published in 2013. The novel depicts the complicated romantic relationships of today’s youth who struggle against emotional scars in their lives but the writer wants to rewrite it into a drama script with a romantic comedy spin.

The upcoming drama adaptation of Ha Myung-hee’s novel is her fifth television series which follows Doctors (2016), High Society (2015), A Word From Warm Heart (2013-2014), and Can We Get Married (2012-2013). If Park Hyung-sik actually gets a role in Temperature of Love, the drama will reunite her and him as he already worked with writer Ha in High Society wherein he played a supporting role.

Temperature of Love is scheduled to air every Mondays and Tuesdays after Falsify, a drama that will follow the currently airing My Sassy Girl.
