Park Hae-jin, Jo Bo-ah cozy up in new poster, stills for ‘Forest’

After dropping its first video teaser, the upcoming KBS2 drama Forest has revealed its first poster in which the show’s leads, Park Hae-jin and Jo Bo-ah, are about to kiss.

Forest is a medical romance drama starring Park Hae-jin (Man To Man) as a man who has everything life can offer, except a heart. He is single-mindedly focused on building assets and acquiring money. Jo Bo-ah (My Strange Hero), on the other hand, plays a resident surgeon known for her easygoing personality. Her fate has been the opposite of Park’s—she has lost everything in her life except her heart.

The poster shows the two actors riding bikes together, dressed in easy summer clothes. It seems they are riding through a forest, and have stopped for a sweet kiss. The mood of the teaser is breezy and romantic. The fact that a green expanse of the forest can be seen in the backdrop is also a nod to the drama’s essential plot, which is that the two will find love and healing when they are forced to live together in a mysterious forest.

Meanwhile, KBS2 also gave a glimpse into the first meeting of these future lovebirds in the form of still images. The meeting looks nothing short of awkward, as Park Hae-jin is carefully examining his beverage in the cafeteria of a hospital where Jo Bo-ah’s character is working. Park is wearing an absurd combination of clothes—a luxury blazer over hospital nightclothes. It is probably because of this that Jo can be seen looking at him with a confused expression on her face.

Forest is set to premiere on January 29. It will take over the Wednesday-Thursday 10 p.m. time slot on KBS2, succeeding Cho Yeo-jeong’s Woman Of 9.9 Billion.
