Park Hae-jin, Han Ji-eun in talks to headline MBC drama ‘Old School Intern’

MBC’s upcoming drama Old School Intern is courting actors Park Hae-jin and Han Ji-eun for the lead roles, their respective agencies announced on January 15.

Old School Intern is a comedy-revenge office drama that tells the story of clashes between the old and new generation as they struggle to work together. Actor Kim Eung-soo (Chief of Staff) has confirmed his appearance as a senior intern in a company.

Park Hae-jin has been offered the role of a man who takes on an intern position under the supervision of Kim Eung-soo’s character. Han Ji-eun, meanwhile, has been approached to play an intern in the sales and marketing division of the same company.

Park (Man To Man) is currently gearing up for the premiere of his first drama in three years, Forest, opposite Jo Bo-ah. Han Ji-eun, meanwhile, was last seen in the 2019 series Be Melodramatic.

Old School Intern is based on the script that won MBC’s drama writing contest in 2018. It is aiming for broadcast in May 2020.
