New drama from ‘100 Days My Prince’ PD wants Yoon Shi-yoon, Jung In-sun as leads

Yoon Shi-yoon and Jung In-sun are in talks to star in a new tvN drama called Psychopath Diary, their respective agencies announced on June 11.

The new series centers on a man who discovers a diary owned by a serial killer that leads him to find out the truth of an incident. Yoon Shi-yoon has been offered the role of the man named Yook Dong-shik, a soft-hearted and timid fund manager who cannot refuse a single request and whose kindness is often exploited by others.

Meanwhile, Jung In-sun has been courted to play a rookie police officer named Shim Bo-kyung. She dreams to become a criminal profiler but she is stuck with doing her patrol duties. Although she is really talented, she always gets ignored by her colleagues.

Yoon Shi-yoon is starring in the ongoing historical drama Nokdu Flower while Jung In-sun was last seen playing a leading drama role in Terius Behind Me.

Psychopath Diary will be directed by Lee Jong-jae of 100 Days My Prince and written by Ryoo Yong-jae of The Liar Game. It is set to premiere in November.
