New ‘Crash Landing On You’ teaser introduces characters of Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Seo Ji-hye, Kim Jung-hyun

With its premiere just around the corner, Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin‘s romance drama Crash Landing On You is dropping another teaser, this time introducing all the four main characters of the series.

The teaser opens with an introduction to Hyun Bin’s (Memories of the Alhambra) character as a dedicated North Korean soldier displaying his combat skills. It continues with Son Ye-jin (Something In The Rain), who introduces herself as a famous heiress everyone in South Korea knows about, followed by glimpses into her glamorous life. Crash Landing On You revolves around these two characters, who cross paths with each other when she gets into a paragliding accident and lands on North Korean soil.

The details of Seo Ji-hye‘s and Kim Jung-hyun‘s characters are also shown in the teaser. Seo (Heart Surgeons) plays the North Korean equivalent of Son Ye-jin’s character—she’s a beautiful heiress too and has been instructed to become close with Hyun-bin’s character.

Kim Jung-hyun (Time), meanwhile, stuns in his role as a rich and young conman. He is seen disembarking from a train in North Korea—hoping to victimize North Koreans—and threatens someone not to harm him. This is Kim’s comeback to the small screen after he went on a hiatus last year due to health problems, which forced him to step down from Time in the middle of production.

Crash Landing On You will air every Saturday and Sunday on tvN starting December 14.

She is responsible for bringing all the latest happenings in Kdramaland, as well as features and recaps of currently airing dramas, to the readers of the site. As a gender studies student, she loves analyzing K-dramas through the lens of gender politics and social justice. You're most likely to find her droning on and on about how Ji Hae-soo from It's Okay That's Love and Sung Bora from Reply 1988 are the best heroines to ever grace our screens. Her favorite dramas tend to be thrillers like Secret Forest and Signal, as well as heartwarming shows like Misaeng. When not in the mood for either of those, you can find her binging on shows about female friendships a la Age of Youth or rom-coms that come with sprinklings of feminism, like Because This Life Is My First. She lives in India, spends all her free time reading books, and would love nothing more than to meet Gong Hyo-jin and sign away her life's earnings to the actress.
