Netflix confirms release of new Korean romance film starring Jang Ki-yong, Chae Soo-bin, Krystal Jung

The world’s leading streaming platform, Netflix, has confirmed the upcoming release of Sweet & Sour, a Korean modern romance film featuring acting stars Jang Ki-yong, Chae Soo-bin, and Krystal Jung.

Sweet & Sour is described as a realistic depiction of how the taste of love changes with the passage of time─from the sweet and sour excitement that there is in a new love to the salty tears and bitter heartache it brings when it ends.

Jang Ki-yong (The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos) is set to render an unfiltered portrayal of Jang Hyeok, a guy who gradually transforms from a sweet boyfriend in the beginning of his relationship to a cold and unresponsive one.

Krystal Jung (More Than Family) enters the picture as Bo-yeong, a woman whom Jang Hyeok meets through a job assignment with his giant corporate employer. As Bo-yeong collaborates and competes with Jang Hyeok for the same permanent position at their company, she eventually falls into an interesting love-hate relationship with him. The upcoming movie marks a milestone in Jung’s career as her first commercial film.
