Start-Up‘s (2020) younger “good boy” Nam Da-reum is in discussions to be part of Netflix’s original series Annarasumanara, which will be helmed by Itaewon Class (2020) PD Kim Sung-yoon!
On April 5, the news of his casting circulated on the media, to which his agency MAGIQ Entertainment responded, “There has not been any confirmation as to whether [Nam Da-reum] will appear in Annarasumanara.”
Based on a Naver webtoon serialized in 2010, Annarasumanara will follow a girl who has lost the enthusiasm to chase after her dreams in life. She then meets a childish magician with a mysterious side. If he accepts the offer, Nam will play the younger version of the male protagonist, the role that is currently being offered to Ji Chang-wook (Lovestruck in the City). Choi Sung-eun (Beyond Evil) and Hwang In-yeop (True Beauty) have also received proposals to join the main cast.
Annarasumanara will premiere exclusively on Netflix and will be available for streaming in over 190 countries.
