‘Mr. Sunshine’ releases posters for 5 main characters

Five character posters are out for the upcoming tvN drama Mr. Sunshine. The posters show Lee Byung-hun as Eugene Choi, Kim Tae-ri as Go Ae-shin, Yoo Yeon-seok as Goo Dong-mae, Kim Min-jung as Hee-na and Byun Yo-han as Kim Hee-sung.

Mr. Sunshine is a human melodrama that centers on a Korean-born American soldier played by Lee Byung-hun. When he was a child, he was taken to the United States in 1871 after a U.S. military expedition to Korea turned into armed conflict and killed hundreds of Koreans. He then returns to his home country in the 1900s and meets a young noblewoman played by Kim Tae-ri. Yoo Yeon-seok will be playing his rival while Byun Yo-han’s character appears “like an immature playboy, but has a warm heart.”

Mr. Sunshine is written by the director-writer pair who produced Descendants of the Sun and Goblin. It will start broadcasting on July 7, replacing Lawless Lawyer on its time slot.

Me? Just an ordinary lad with an extraordinary (says this something called 'stereotype') habit of watching Korean dramas. It started with action-filled City Hunter and the rest, as they say, is history.
