Seol In-ah might join Ahn Hyo-seop in an upcoming office rom-com series!
According to Seol’s agency Oui Entertainment on June 10, “Seol In-ah has received an offer to appear in the [upcoming] SBS drama The Office Blind Date and is considering it.”
Based on a popular web novel, The Office Blind Date follows a fateful turn of events that sparks an unexpected romance between a young CEO and his regular employee.
Singer-actor Ahn Hyo-seop (Dr. Romantic 2) has confirmed earlier to portray the male protagonist Kang Tae-mu, a strikingly fine yet emotionally guarded third-generation chaebol heir. Actresses Jo Bo-ah (Tale of the Nine Tailed) and Kim Se-jeong (The Uncanny Counter), on the other hand, each received a proposal to take on the female lead character Shin Ha-ri, but both have yet to release their respective decisions.
Meanwhile, Seol In-ah is being roped in to play Ha-ri’s best friend Jin Young-seo. If she accepts the role, Seol will be sealing her highly anticipated return to the small screen just months after showcasing serious acting skills in the controversial hit series Mr. Queen (2020–2021).
With a plan to crank up filming in the second half of this year, The Office Blind Date targets to broadcast by the first half of 2022.
