‘Mouse’ premiere episode to be rated 19+

Lee Seung-gi‘s crime-psychological thriller Mouse, which will premiere on tvN tonight, March 3, at 10:30 p.m. KST, has rated its first episode 19+.

Mouse follows a police officer, played by Lee Seung-gi (Vagabond), who chases after a serial killer with the help of a lawless detective, played by Lee Hee-joon (Mistress). Lee Seung-gi, who recently shared his fondness for this drama, said, “I was surprised when I received the script. It is very different from my previous works, and it features a strong and unique genre.”

He added, “The production decided to change the drama rating to be [for viewers] over the age of 19, and I am very grateful to tvN for making that decision. [This type of] genre is sometimes cruel due to its nature, but [the scenes] are necessary to deliver [the] social message.”

The actor further expressed his anticipation for the premiere, saying, “I am curious about how the viewers will accept my character and my performance in this drama.”

The production crew also shared, “Mouse will open a new horizon of genres for tvN dramas, [as it] features the perfect combination of Choi Ran’s well-structured script and the outstanding cinematography created under director Choi Joon-bae, as well as the performances of the actors who are all equally skilled and devoted to their work.”

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
