Rising actress Moon Ga-young is currently being courted, along with actor Kim Seon-ho, to lead in tvN’s upcoming romantic-fantasy series Link.
In response to initial news about Moon’s confirmed participation in the project, her agency KeyEast Entertainment stated, “Moon Ga-young has received an offer to appear in Link and is reviewing it.”
Link is said to tell the story of a man who suddenly finds himself sharing and expressing the random feelings of a certain woman.
If she accepts the role, Moon Ga-young will play the female protagonist Noh Da-hyun, a woman who has been considering herself unlucky her entire life. She lives across a handsome chef named Eun Gye-hoon, the role being proposed to Kim Seon-ho (Start-Up). Eventually, they both find out about their magical and mysterious connection when Gye-hoon starts mimicking all of Da-hyun’s unpredictable burst of emotions.
Moon Ga-young entered the entertainment business as a child actress in 2006, appearing in both television dramas and films. In 2019, she co-starred with Kim Seon-ho in the comedy series Welcome to Waikiki 2. She then headlined the mystery drama Find Me in Your Memory a year after. Currently, Moon is impressing many viewers with her natural acting skills in tvN’s ongoing romantic comedy series True Beauty (2020–2021).
Link, also known as Link: Eat and Love to Kill, will be helmed by director Noh Sang-hoon of The Queen of Office (2013) and penned by screenwriter Kwon Ki-young of Suspicious Partner (2017), who previously worked together in the drama Hello Monster (2015). In earlier reports, the drama had planned to air in the first half of 2021.
