Lee Yoo-jin confirmed as Onew’s replacement in ‘Age of Youth 2’

JTBC confirmed on August 18 that actor Lee Yoo-jin was selected to take the role vacated by SHINee’s Onew in Age of Youth 2. Onew was forced to drop out of the drama two days ago after he became a suspect in an alleged sexual assault case that occurred in a club on August 12.

Lee Yoo-jin (Second 20s) will be playing the role of Kwon Ho-chang, a smart engineering student who is innocent when it comes to love and romantic relationships. Kwon Ho-chang is the potential suitor of Han Seung-yeon’s character in the drama. In the first season, she suffers from his abusive boyfriend and takes a break from the university. She is back in the sequel as someone still moving on from her tragic experience and it seems like Lee Yoo-jin’s character will help in healing the wound in her heart.

Age of Youth 2 will center on five young woman living together in one house. These five women are played by Han Ye-ri, Han Seung-yeon, Park Eun-bin, Ji Woo, and Choi A-ra. The drama will premiere on August 25, taking over the Friday-Saturday slot currently occupied by Woman of Dignity.
