Lee Sung-kyung and Yoon Kyun-sang agreed to make the guest appearance due to their close relationship with Lee Jong-suk and their past work relationship with While You Were Sleeping PD Oh Choong-hwan who directed Doctors, the 2016 drama in which the two actors starred in before they took on their leading roles in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People. Lee Sung-kyung and Lee Jong-suk belong to the same agency, YG Entertainment.

There is no information released yet on the descriptions of the characters Lee Sung-kyung and Yoon Kyun-sang will take on.

While You Were Sleeping is a supernatural-legal drama about a woman who sees the future and dreams of bad things that are about to happen to other people. Suzy plays the role of that woman while Lee Jong-suk takes on the role of a prosecutor who will fight with her to stop the awful events from happening. Rounding out the supporting cast of the drama are Shin Jae-ha (Wanted), Go Sung-hee (My Beautiful Bride), Lee Sang-yub (This Week, My Wife Will Have an Affair), and Jung Hae-in (Night Light).

The drama is written by Park Hye-ryun, who previously worked with Lee Jong-suk in I Hear Your Voice and Pinocchio. Writer Park also worked before with Bae Suzy in Dream High, so While You Were Sleeping is her second project together with the writer.

While You Were Sleeping is a 16-episode 100 % pre-produced drama whose filming is set to finish in early July. It is scheduled to air every Wednesday and Thursday in September after Suspicious Partner and Reunited Worlds.

Me? Just an ordinary lad with an extraordinary (says this something called 'stereotype') habit of watching Korean dramas. It started with action-filled City Hunter and the rest, as they say, is history.
