Lee Sung-kyung to make special appearance in ‘Once Again’

Lee Sung-kyung is all set to make a brief return to the small screen!

The actress will be making a special appearance on KBS2’s weekend drama Once Again. This appearance is all thanks to her friendship with the writer of the drama, Yang Hee-seung, who wrote Lee’s breakout 2016 drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. The drama marked Lee Sung-kyung’s first role as a leading lady and established her as a top actress in the industry.

While details of Lee’s appearance have been kept under wraps, her role is expected to introduce some tension to the plot. Lee Sung-kyung was last seen playing a clever surgeon with anxiety in Dr. Romantic 2 (2020).

Meanwhile, the Lee Sang-yeob and Lee Min-jung starrer Once Again recently surpassed 30% in viewers ratings. The show is a healing family drama that deals with the struggles of marriages. It also captures the generation gap between parents and their children and how they manage to overcome it to find happiness, along with a healthy dose of humor.
