Lee Si-young in talks to join cast of ‘Zero’

Sweet Home (2020) actress Lee Si-young might be returning to the TV screen soon!

On March 26, reports circulated that the actress will be joining the cast of Zero. Lee Si-young’s agency Ace Factory responded to the news and said that her casting in the drama “has not been confirmed yet.”

Zero is a new work by Stranger (seasons 1 and 2) screenwriter Lee Soo-yeon and is a drama that combines the genres of science fiction and chase thriller. Other production details are still being kept under wraps, but the drama management has already sent casting offers to Seo Kang-joon (When the Weather Is Fine), Chun Woo-hee (Be Melodramatic), and Kim Mu-yeol (Bad Guys: Vile City, KBS Drama Special: Forgotten Season). However, there is no news of confirmation from any of the three actors yet.

The drama will be helmed by PD Lee Khan of The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful (2019). The broadcasting network that will air Zero is still under discussion, as well as the potential global OTT (over-the-top) platform that the production will collaborate with. The filming will reportedly begin after the completion of the casting lineup.

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
