Lee Seung-gi’s ‘Mouse’ nominated in Series Mania 2021

tvN’s psychological and thriller drama Mouse has been nominated in the International Panorama category at the upcoming 11th Annual Series Mania.

Mouse follows a rookie police officer and a lawless detective as they try to hunt for a psychopathic serial killer. The drama poses a morally questionable dilemma of if it’s okay to kill an unborn child if they are proven to be a future serial killer, thus saving innocent lives in the future. It stars Lee Seung-gi (Vagabond) and Lee Hee-joon (Mistress).

Series Mania, which started in 2010, is a French television festival where directors, writers, and viewers alike from all over the world gather to choose and award outstanding drama series every year. It will be held in Lille, France on August 26 to September 2, 2021. Mouse is the only Korean work to be invited and nominated this year.

Director Kim Do-hyeon of CJ ENM’s Overseas Contents Business division said, “With this nomination, we are proud that Mouse has been widely introduced to local audiences in France and to those in the global content industry. In the future, we will do our best in overseas sales and marketing so that Korean contents of various genres can be recognized for their excellence in overseas markets.”

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
