Lee Min-ki, Nana become cute cartoon couple in teaser poster for MBC’s new drama ‘Oh! Master’

Lee Min-ki and Nana transform into sketched versions of their characters in the teaser poster for MBC’s upcoming rom-com drama Oh! Master.

Oh! Master follows the unexpected twists that befall the lives of a man who chooses not to date and a woman who cannot date after they reside in one home.

The freshly released teaser poster is unlike those rendered in typical formats, as it appears like a lovely scene taken straight out from a webtoon. It is set against the background of an old Korean castle where cherry blossom trees abound in full bloom, filling the air with that familiar scent of budding love. At the center are cartooned main protagonists Han Bi-soo (Lee Min-ki, The Lies Within) and Oh Joo-in (Nana, Memorials). Bi-soo is a famous screenwriter for dramas and is quite a good catch, but he has no interest in dating. On the other hand, Joo-in is an actress dubbed as the “Rom-Com Queen,” but she ironically finds herself unable to date. Things begin to change, however, when they find themselves co-living in a single space.

In addition, Oh! Master is set to feature an exciting lineup of cast members: Kang Min-hyuk (Hospital Ship), Lee Hwi-hyang (A Pledge to God), Kim Ho-jeong (Search), Sunwoo Jae-duk (Royal Secret Agent), and Woo Hee-jin (Angel’s Last Mission: Love).

Oh! Master will be helmed Oh Da-young, who previously served as the assistant director of Golden Garden (2019), and penned by screenwriter Jo Jin-kook of Love Is Annoying, but I Hate Being Lonely (2020). The Wednesday-Thursday series is slated to premiere on March 24 at 9:20 p.m. KST as MBC’s first drama for 2021.
