SBS’s upcoming drama Taxi Driver has dropped new stills featuring its main star Lee Je-hoon.
Starring Lee Je-hoon (Where Stars Land), Esom (Save Me 2), Kim Eui-sung (Arthdal Chronicles), Pyo Ye-jin (VIP), Jang Hyuk-jin (Awaken), Cha Ji-yeon (Scent of a Woman), and Bae Yoo-ram (Zombie Detective), Taxi Driver follows a private taxi company called Rainbow Transport who takes revenge orders from their customers who have been treated unfairly in the society.
Lee plays the anti-hero Kim Do-gi, one of the taxi drivers of Rainbow Transport who carry out revenge orders for the unheard voices in society who are crying out for justice. Do-gi is a character with unrivaled fighting power and skills to take on many enemies, making him one of the company’s most reliable employees. As a former special forces member, he is trained on how to approach his target and is skilled in many techniques in blending in. He is also an excellent driver, which makes him an exemplary employee in the company.
In the unveiled stills, Lee looks dashing as he transforms into his character Do-gi. He switches his clothing style from a thick, bomber jacket and sunglasses when he is working to a sleek all-black casual suit when he is on a day off, sipping his drink comfortably by his balcony. In addition, Lee is also the face of the drama’s poster, further highlighting the importance of his character to the story.
Catch Lee Je-hoon and the other stars of Taxi Driver when it premieres on April 9 at 10 p.m. KST.
