Kyung Soo-jin transforms into a passionate PD in new stills from ‘Mouse’

tvN’s new Wednesday and Thursday drama Mouse has dropped the character stills of Kyung Soo-jin as a producing director (PD) in action.

Mouse follows a rookie police officer and a lawless detective in their hunt for a psychopathic serial killer who has caused chaos and instilled fear in people. It stars Lee Seung-gi (Vagabond) and Lee Hee-joon (Mistress) in the main roles.

Kyung Soo-jin (Hush) has joined the cast as Choi Hong-joo, a multi-awarded current affairs program producer who crosses paths with Jeong Ba-reum (Lee Seung-gi) and eventually teams up with him to go after the same criminal who has been on a killing rampage. In the released stills, Kyung transforms into a fierce and goal-driven PD with her smart-casual suit and focused eyes as she interviews a resident for her program. Armed with a pen, she starts asking questions, and her eyes are locked into the eyes of the person in front of her as she listens intently to his story.

Kyung has impressed the production team by being attentive to details and paying careful attention not only to external elements, such as makeup and clothes, but also to each tone and action of her character in order to portray the correct image of a current affairs PD. Kyung Soo-jin said, “The first shooting is not only my first meeting with new people but also my first time showing my character, so I was very nervous. Fortunately, the director and staff members treated me comfortably, so I was able to finish the first filming well. I’m looking forward to the rest of the filming because I am able to work in a good drama with a great staff and good actors like Lee Seung-gi, Lee Hee-joon, and Park Ju-hyun (Zombie Detective).”

The production crew said, “Kyung Soo-jin is always inspiring with her energy and smile and her professional attitude as she transforms once she turns to the camera, from her facial expressions down to the emotions in her eyes. Please support Kyung Soo-jin, who will fiercely chase after the truth of the murder case.”

Mouse will air on March 3 at 10:30 p.m. KST.

Luna

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
