Krystal Jung is determined to achieve her dream in new stills from ‘Police University’

Another strong female character is on the way with Krystal Jung playing a persevering student!

Upcoming KBS2 drama Police University centers on one of the most conservative police schools in the country where a professor and a student who is a brilliant hacker team up to solve a big case. It stars Cha Tae-hyun (Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation), Jung Jin-young (My First First Love 2), and Krystal Jung (Search).

In the stills, Jung transforms into Oh Kang-hee, a freshman at the National Police University who tirelessly chases after her dream to become a police officer despite her scars in life. With her fighting spirit, she was able to enter the prestigious police academy. She is a character with a strong sense of purpose and a tenacious will.

The first still hints at Oh Kang-hee’s background as a former judo athlete. Jung has reportedly prepared herself thoroughly for her action scenes in the drama through consistent practice. In the other image, Kang-hee exudes a strong girl-crush vibe with her visuals. She is proudly wearing her police uniform and is doing a salute. Her eyes are brimming with determination and an unbreakable sense of justice.

Police University will air on KBS2, following the conclusion of At a Distance, Spring Is Green.

Luna

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
