Korean Drama Ratings from May 20 to 26, 2019

One drama concluded this week while two made their premiere. Melodrama Beautiful World obtained its highest ratings on its final week while Fantasy romance Angel’s Last Mission: Love pulled in almost 10 percent on its first broadcast.

Korean Drama Ratings Highlights

Angel’s Last Mission: Love off to a good start with nearly 10%. It premiered and got 9.2 percent, defeating rival One Spring Night and giving KBS2 hope that the network will get its third consecutive win this year in the Wednesday-Thursday time slot, following the success of Liver or Die and Doctor Prisoner.

Beautiful World soars to 5% during finale. It is one perfect example of a drama which recorded its all-time low rating on its premiere and got its peak viewership during its finale, showing a smooth chart whose trend line goes upward from left to right. Its penultimate and final episodes achieved 4.9 and 5.8 percent, respectively, which are the two highest ratings for the entire series.

Voice 3 exceeds 5% mark. It posted an audience share of 5.4 percent, which is a big jump from its 3.5 percent in the previous episode.

The Secret Life Of My Secretary suffers from lowest rating to date. It recorded 2.7 percent for its 11th episode, marking the first time it went below the 3 percent mark. However, it quickly recovered in the next episode, achieving its all-time high viewership of 3.6 percent for the second time.

Abyss now a 2-percent record-holder. This after its rating fell to 2.7 percent on its 5th episode. Fortunately, it managed to see an increase in the following day, recording 3.3 percent.
