Confirmations are in on the main cast of SBS’s new series Love At First Sight, which now has Kim Young-kwang and Jin Ki-joo as its official protagonists.
Love At First Sight (working title) is a romantic comedy and office drama about a cold-hearted boss and his hot-tempered secretary. Kim Young-kwang will play the role of Do Min-ik, an intelligent but problematic team manager who unnecessarily calls for his secretary all the time. Meanwhile, Jin Ki-joo will play his secretary named Jung Gal-hee who obediently fulfills her duties but has a surprisingly harsh way of talking.
Kim Young-kwang recently played a doctor in the mystery drama Room No. 9 while Jin Ki-joo portrayed a young starlet with a tragic past in the melodrama Come and Hug Me.
In addition to Kim and Jin, Kim Jae-kyung and Moo Jin-sung have been also confirmed to play the second leads. Kim Jae Kyung’s character, Veronica Park, is a production company CEO who boasts her excellent work but hides her messy personal life. Her potential love interest is Moo Jin-sung’s character named Ki Dae-joo, Do Min-ik’s bestfriend who is also a team manager in the same company. He is described as a talented, gentle, and sweet person.
Love At First Sight is a “lovely, bubbly, and bright drama” that is fit for spring, according to the series’ production team. It is scheduled to premiere as a Monday-Tuesday drama in May, following the upcoming sageuk Haechi.
