Kim Tae-woo cast in ‘Bossam: Steal the Fate’

Veteran actor Kim Tae-woo is working on a new drama!

On March 2, Kim’s agency J,Wide-Company announced that the actor will appear in MBN’s new drama Bossam: Steal the Fate.

Set in the Joseon dynasty, the romance-historical drama follows an immoral man who will do anything for money, even performing bossam, a Korean custom of kidnapping a widow for remarriage, as widows during that time are not allowed to remarry. Bossam: Steal the Fate is MBN’s first historical drama. It stars Jung Il-woo (Sweet Munchies) as the immoral Ba Woo, who mistakenly kidnaps the daughter-in-law of his enemy, and Kwon Yu-ri (Breakup Probation, A Week) as Princess Soo Kyung, who gets abducted by accident.

Kim Tae-woo will play the role of Prince Gwanghae, the father of Princess Soo Kyung. The actor is known for his antagonist role in Mr. Queen (2020–2021), a character who has brought conflict and tension in the drama.

Bossam: Steal the Fate is scheduled to premiere in the first half of the year.

It was Princess Lulu who first introduced her to Korean dramas but it was Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers who enticed her to stay in K-dramaland. She writes news and features for Kdramapal, which combines two of her most favorite things in the world—writing and K-dramas (look who's living the dream). The name Luna literally translates to "moon" and nothing special; she just likes writing at night.
